Frequently Asked Questions

How does therapy work?
You and I will meet for one hour sessions, generally weekly or twice weekly at first. Initially, we will explore the reason you have come in for counselling and set some specific goals that you will work on between sessions. As you develop skills for managing your situation, sessions will happen weekly or every two weeks, or even farther apart.

How long does therapy take?
We will work together only for as many sessions necessary to help you identify what you want to resolve, and to learn the skills needed so that you can move ahead.
